FOR THE MELTED MOUNTAIN - AT THE FEET OF THE WISE MAN

Melted Mountain

Sitting at his feet, hunched over, with grief on his face, the young man watched him.

- Oh, my father, tell me ... Ever since I found you, my soul has been burning with thirst for knowledge. I drink - and I do not get enough. I know, but I seem to have forgotten everything. When I came to you - I understood everything. I had studied foreign sciences, I wanted to talk about everything - and I knew ... And since I came to you and listened to your words - everything has disappeared. Did the world grow so much, or did I shrink completely?

I'm so small, Dad, now that I'm getting lost - it's as if I'm having a hard time finding myself ...

The wise man smiled, stroked his white beard, and said:

- When you came to me, you were a big mountain of ice. The sun burned her and she melted. But water remained instead. She brings life.

And it is plastic, it gets acquainted with everything, it penetrates everywhere, it melts a lot, it is needed by everyone. And the snow mountain was just dangerous ...

Which is better, you think?

- Oh, Dad, I understand ... And really, now I feel all people better - and before I didn't even want to know that they exist ...
